Get Naked or Keep Your Color On

Every edge of the earth has been anticipating the follow up to Urban Decays Naked palette - Naked 2.

Above is the original version.

Below is the second generation.

Dare I say as a makeup addict that I do not own either?

At $50 for each (the price was slightly increased when Naked 2 came out ) that makes each shadow $4.17, a great deal considering each Urban Decay single runs $17. The line up of the original is a lot less impressive compared to the newer version. The darker shades make more sense in this range of color, however, a matte dark brown is preferable to the deeper plum. Since I consider myself something of a makeup connoisseur, I would like the twins that took over the makeup world to come in completely cohesive packaging if the intention is for consumers to own both. I prefer the tin click-closure version, myself.

Do you need both? Probably not. If you have yet to invest in these it is highly recommended that you go with Naked 2. The range is more wearable across skin tones, eye colors, and attitudes (god forbid anyone take our smokey eye away).
